Charter Oak State College offers a 50% course fee waiver for Connecticut veterans enrolled at the college.
Veterans eligible for the course fee waiver benefit will be compliant with the following Connecticut Veterans Waiver requirements:
- 90 consecutive days active duty (active duty for training not applicable)
- Honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces
- Copy of Member-4 of DD-214 (with required dates of service)
- Matriculated student status (officially accepted and current with college semester fees). Registration fees and other applicable fees must be paid each registration period. Eligibility ceases upon withdrawal, dismissal and/or graduation.
If a veteran elects to receive benefits under the Post 9/11 GI Bill, those benefits will be applied first, and the course fee waiver will apply to the balance.
